Fiery Eyes by erezmarom Fiery Eyes by erezmarom
Platyrhinus resinosus, quite a rare beetle in Israel.
That's the only individual I've seen. I loved its brown spots and of course, its eyes.
Ben-Shemen forest, Israel.

It's the only time I'd seen it before too... I was sure I had discovered a new species to science :D
But no.

Wowww, that's interesting. XD And wouldn't that have been so shocking if you had discovered a new species?! You just might eventually if you keep on going out and looking. :rose:
