Our visit to Grundarfjörður, the town closest to Pyramid Mountian, wasn't an easy one. Driving with a terrible rental 4X4 on the icy roads was hardly a treat, but to top it, we had a snow blizzard for an entire day, which wasn't at all productive.
Nevertheless, we had our shot at this thing of beauty. On one evening, the wind was slow, and the water still enough to allow this reflection. Some faint color from the sunset behind lit the clouds, and I went for it.
If you wish to experience and shoot this magical place, among many other incredible sceneries, you're welcome to check out my upcoming 'Land of Ice' Iceland winter workshop
taking place January 2013.
The workshop is now completely sold out. You can still register to the waiting list though, and next year's workshop will be announced soon.
