Lost in Space by erezmarom Lost in Space by erezmarom
A starry night in Kirkjufell, the Pyramid mountain. A hint of Aurora was in the sky when I took this (4-image, 40+MP) vertical panorama, and the perfectly-clear milky way appeared to engage in some sort of mystical dance with the mountain and the lagoon surrounding it, reflecting the stars.

If you'd like to experience and shoot these amazing locations under my dedicated guidance, please check out my upcoming 'Land of Ice' (south Iceland - first group sold out, 2nd group added) and 'Winter Paradise' (northern Iceland) photography workshops next January.
You can view the workshops teaser trailer here!

How do you get rid of the startrails with a 15 second exposure? I see trails in the reflection. Is it a combined image?

I would need to travel a fair distance to try something like this. We have a lot of sodium light pollution in this part of Scotland.

It's not start trails, there are no star trails in 15 sec 24mm exposures. See here: www.dpreview.com/articles/2776…

If you look carefully, you can see Messier 31 on the left side of the image. Closest large spiral galaxy to our own; 2,500,000 light-years distant.

I was gonna say "I thought Andromeda was the closest," but then I remembered they're the same galaxy.

Yep! Messier objects often do have a popular name associated with them. M63 is the Sunflower Galaxy, for instance.

Dude do you even know how perspective works?! xD Dude it's real photo not manupulation.
Just go make photos in such locations then you will see yourself.

ah clearly i have no understanding of perspective. fav.me/d6wlyc2 and clearly it is this image which is manipulated, its all starting to make sense.

Dude, those are two different artists. One have to photomanipulate, another don't because have such a good camera and goes into locations where sky is really reflected in the surface of the water.
I was in such places where you can see sky reflect. If you have been not, don't right away assume that it must be photo manipulation.
