Salt Age by erezmarom Salt Age by erezmarom
Strange salt formations on the dead sea's shore at sunrise. plummeting by a meter every year, the salty water leaves salt residues which coat everything in its path.

The crusty, almost harsh formations from the salt compliment the clouds in their intensity, yet contrast so well in their colors. It's a great photograph and one that demands the viewer to really look in detail, almost trying to find some reason or figure within the salt formations. Very well done!

sick salt formations man. Great focus to capture the detail and a nice sky to compliment the unique formations in the rocks/salt. Sick man.

Looks like a two shelled creature is crawling along, got the two eyes, the beak nose, and the right hand and arm reaching on the left side of the photo. Or maybe the shell on the left is another who hasn't been brave enough to emerge from its shell yet. Or the shell on the creature's back is a baby creature facing the right side as you can see its eye and nose. :giggle:

Very interesting and outstanding picture.
The salt foundations in the foreground and the sky give the picture an almost mysterious feeling. And the sea in the background makes it even better.
Great photo!
