A super-cool experience led to several UV-light scorpion shots. This is a kind of studio shot (done outside of a lab rather than in the wild), but doing such long exposures under rain and using a crappy UV torch wasn't easy! :)

If you've ever wanted to shoot spectacular macro and nature shots, now you can do just that in my upcoming "Macro and More" Costa Rica 2012 workshop. This workshop presents the opportunity to improve your macro and nature photography skills in a stunning location with endless beauty and photo opportunities, countless little aliens and good fun, and yours truly as a dedicated guide :)
Please click on the link for more details, and don't hesitate to contact me regarding any questions. I hope to see you there!

I was thinking this week about making macro of scorpions, since I never see macros of it.
And today I see your excellent work. Congrats!
