Our first stop in Iceland was Seljalandsfoss - a towering, thundering waterfall which has been shot a kajillion times. Since the foreground wasn't that interesting and since I really wanted to produce something original, I opted not to make the waterfall the center of the image, but rather to show it in the background and focus the attention on these beautiful, frozen columns of ice. To achieve this in a crammed surrounding with little space, I had to shoot a panorama of 5 vertical images, the last two multi-exposed for highlight correction. I hope I've made something a bit different to the usual shots of this place.
