Strawberry poison dart frog (Oophaga pumilio), Boca del Drago morph. I got this shot when it was resting - a rare moment indeed :-/

Do the frogs eyes react the same way to light (dilatation) as ours do ?
Because in your pictures, the light always seem pretty good and strong, and the frogs have deep and totally dark eyes... :)

I supposed they do.
All these images were shot under poor lighting - some of the exposures reached as much as 10 seconds...

Pardon me if I'm wrong, but I don't think this is a strawberry poison dart frog. Looks more like a yellow poison dart frog maybe? I think that this is a strawberry poison dart frog: [link]

Hi,
they're both strawberry poison dart frog (Oophaga pumilio), just different color morph. It has many morphs, most are found in Bocas del Toro, Panama.

If you handle them, does the poison get on your hands? Or, should I say is it harmful to your skin?

Okay....I had heard that they used to just rub darts on them, and they would then poison animals when they struck them...
